Thankful Scattergories

Rather than doing the traditional go around the table and say what we are thankful for this year, I thought it would be fun to come up with something different.

THANKFUL SCATTERGORIES

I have seen school worksheets that children write from A-Z of what they are thankful for and really like the idea but took it one step further to make it into a game.

HERE IS HOW YOU PLAY:
You can play in individually or teams individual. Set a time limit and within that time limit for each letter, write down one thing you are thankful for. You do want to try to come up with something unique that someone might not think of because at the end, you will each read your list and if someone else is thankful for the same thing as you, then both of you will have to cross it off your list. Add up the remaining things you are thankful for and the person with the most wins!

Fall decorating idea with free printables

Fall is my favorite season and is just around the corner. I am ready to welcome Fall with this wooden sign. I love the simplicity of this sign and seeing all the autumn colors make me smile.

These pictures can be displayed so many different ways. Stick them in a frame, make a door sign, or make a wooden panel for your porch like I did. The good news is each picture can be downloaded individually and can be used any way you would like.

Here are the details on how I put together the wooden sign panel

I first cut my panel down so each square is 8 x 8.

Next you download what picture you would like to use.
Just click on each image below, and then right-click and save.

Open it in a program to re-size it to what you want it to be, and then print.

Cut it out and use Mod Podge to glue it onto the panel.

I love cute and simple decorations and hope you like it just as much as I do.

Printable Halloween Dinner Menu

I have always loved Halloween time and for years I have had this Halloween dinner menu in my recipe book that I planned to use one day while hosting some awesome and fun Halloween party but so far it hasn't happened so I am sharing it with you hoping it will add some fun to your Halloween. I have the menu in two columns. The column on the left is the menu and the column on the right is the menu key. Make it fun and fold the paper in half and dare your family and friends to order their food without knowing what they are going to get.

Can you guess what some of these foods are?

Check out the menu key below to see if you guessed right

St Patrick's Day shamrock pattern

Since graphics seems to be my thing these days, I decided to make some shamrock patterns to use for preschool. My plan was for my son to match lower and uppercase letters to spell the word shamrock. But after I made them,  I decided they would make a really cute banner similar to the this one I made for Christmas. So below you will find two sets of shamrock sheets. One for preschool use and one for a St. Patrick's Day banner or any other crafty thing you can think of.
