Printable Morning and Nightime Routine Charts for Kids

My son loves to play, play, play and sometimes it was hard to get him to focus and listen to me when he was playing. When it was time to break for lunch or time to clean up toys and get ready for bed, he was having a lot of melt downs and there was a lot of power struggles. So I created a bedtime routine chart that included cleaning up toys as one of the steps. It took about three of four nights of the routine chart before he would stop with the melt downs, there is still some complaining sometimes but overall a lot more happiness in our home. I also made a morning routine chart to get us going in the morning. He of course has to follow all the steps on the chart before he can play with toys. These charts work great for our family.
